Great Watch... Strap, Not So Much
This is an excellent and beautiful watch, I think you will love it. Mine keeps time to within plus ten seconds per day which is not bad for a low cost mechanical movement. My only negative is about the strap. Seiko mounts it backwards on the watch so you will likely want to reverse it after receiving your watch. Also, the strap has a rather low-end, cheap look and feel to it so you may choose to replace the strap. However, for the low cost, the watch is so good that it's worth purchasing despite the poor strap. It's a well made and absolutely gorgeous watch.

Beautiful and classy
Can NOT stop looking at this watch. Still in the Honeymoon phase but.....damn. As good as any of my Swiss watches. Strap gets a lot of criticism...actually...Seiko does usually skimp on bands...but this one works very well..even with the upside down Strap(why did they do this?) Timeless stunner.
I'm in a watch club. Poll after poll favor the styling of the dial and the case. I disagree - case too thick and lug shape to square. Still, money and value and heritage talk. New versions of this watch are out there, but there's only one O.G. Can't wait to put this on a steel bracelet. Stunning looker, excellent performer, reluctant clasp.
Beautiful watch with silver and blue hues. When I select a watch in the morning I usually give all of my automatics a few winds. This watch has a 50 hour power reserve and continues to keep accurate time while other automatics in my collection have stopped. My only complaint regards the deployment clasp. Luxurious dress watch that punches way above its price point
The SARB065 "Cocktail Time" has an absolutely beautiful dial. The blue second hand wonderfully compliments the overall design. Very luxurious looking watch, easily my favorite dress watch of my collection. The movement (6R15) is extremely smooth and accurate (+/- 10 sec) but can be expensive to service. Beautiful watch
This is a beautiful Seiko watch. It is in excellent condition and functions perfectly. Despite not having the original band, the Staib stainless chain link band looks excellent combined with this watch. A REALLY great watch especially for the money
Having got into watches recently and doing a ton of research online, as well as visiting that many shops, one thing has become clear-Seiko offers great quality at stunningly low prices, compared to its Swiss counterparts. It's really like Mazda Vs an Audi/BMW/Benz and I happen to own 1 of each side to compare. The equivalent Swiss timepiece may be 10 to 15% better ultimately, but it ends up being 3 to 4 times the price. This beauty from Seiko retails for $700 in Australia, but I reckon it would be around $2000+ if it wore a European badge. The 6R15 movement is 6 to 8 seconds fast a day, better than my Tag Carrera 5 with ETA 2824 movement of +8 to 10 seconds. The dial is stunning and original, the strap a nice patent leather in black (very dressy) and the blue stitching matches the blue seconds hand. It gets a LOT of admirable comments over my other Omega Speedy/Tudor Blackbay etc. Just doesn't quite make 5 stars as Hardlex Crystal (still pretty good) rather than Sapphire face, and case with movement feels a little light to me. So I guess the Seiko name just hasn't quite the "kick" of those European brand names even though its a really great timepiece and kills its competitors for value.
