Samsung Icemaker Making Ice Again!
Nothing like paying almost $4000 for a refrigerator only to have the ice maker (the reason we bought this model) stop working after 18 months. Disgusted with paying for repairs-service fee to just come out and can you be ready on a weekday between 8am and 3pm-I decided to do this myself. With the help of several Youtube videos and the schematics, I went looking for the replacement part. Low and behold, this must be a common problem as the replacement ice makers are hard to find. I ended up here and purchased the gizmo. Shipped quickly, came quickly, and then sat for about 2 weeks while I girded my loins to delve into the repair business. As a science teacher, I can read directions but alas, none were sent. I went back to the internet and found a very good, step by step set of directions with pictures. This girl then went to work and within the hour, the new ice maker was making ice. I let it cycle for 24 hours, then dumped the black ice it made. Now making clear, clean, ice cold ice. Great product, great price
The Samsung ice maker was pretty easy to install after watching the you tube video showing how to install it. We have had problems with the original ice maker for a few years. We purchased our refrigerator in 2016. Ice maker outstanding

Icemaker Problem Solved
I installed the icemaker a few days ago. It takes up to 12 hours for it to begin making ice and, sure enough, it began working just as it should. The Samsung side-by-side refrigerator has a small gap that can let humidity into the icemaker from the refrigerator. That can freeze and interfere with icemaker operation. Worked like a charm
Fixed my Samsung ice maker with this product. Replaced the old defective one, installed the metal clips recommended by Samsung and sealed the ice maker area from inside the refrigerator. Took about half a day allowing the sealant to dry a little. Six months later still no frost and ice maker is working well. Hope the freezing stops
Kit had good parts and the biggest problem was the foam wrap around the redesign tube to get that to latch in the ice maker housing foam needed modification to make work, defrost of the unit was time consuming as well but there are numerous complaints on may sites about the design of the unit ,hope the kit can correct the problemBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Better than the best. Make all your ice making dreams come true.
I've replace my ice maker once before. This is the latest revision of this problematic design. It does actually work "righter" and "mo better" than the original and the last replacement one. Ice maker now works correctly
Every week I was having to thaw out my ice maker, and it started doing this a year after we had it! Samsung did not make a good product when it comes to Refrigerators and fish washers.
