Perterson Stroboclip HD SC-HC Clip On Tuner
Very Accurate the Clip is made of a very soft but strong material and I don't worry about clipping on to my very expensive headstocks. The Screen is easy to Read and when the Strobe Stops You Are In Tune! This is the first Tuner I felt comfortable enough with to attempt Intonation on both Acoustic and Electrics Guitars. That's right it works just as well on an Electric Guitars as well as any other stringed instrument. I use this as a novice Guitarist and have been playing for 48 Years. This is a great Product, I initially hesitated because of the price but it turns out to be well worth the extra several dollars to hear my favorite guitars in tune, really for the first time! Strobo-clip is the latest advance by a great company.
Having used tuners for years as a performing professional player, I have long been partial to the line of strobe tuners. I have done very well with the phone app. version, the larger boxed stand-alone version, the silver clip-on, and now the strobo-clip. I love that this unit doesn't get confused about what input to listen to; it chooses what is most prominent and ignores other instruments and sounds floating around it. The strobe bars stop clearly when the optimum pitch is attained, and all the tuning options such as sweeteners are amazing. Best tuner out there
I have tried a lot of clip on tuners and, hands down, this is the best tuner out there... I do wish that they were less expensive; if so, I would clip one on all of my instruments. I have been using a Stroboclip for around 2 years now and it is holding up well and the battery life is reasonable. The guitar sweetened tuning is amazing; however, I found that while playing with another guitar player you will not sound in tune, with each other, unless they also are tuned that way. The Tuner that changes my Life
Peterson Strobe HD Clip-On tuner is the best tuner I've found. I wish I found out about it before I bought my previous tuner, the KLIQ. It has 0.1 accuracy. You cannot get the accurate tuning beyond the 7th position unless you have tuner with this high degree of accuracy. Even if you temper it after, unless you have extremely good ears. It is OK if you just play rhythm, but not when you play solo fingerstyle, especially classical. For many years I blame the strings for the awful out-of-tune sound at higher position on my guitar. I don't blame the guitars as I have several very good guitars, and it happens to all of them. Occasionally I do get reasonable tuning when the strings are new, but soon the problem return. The Strobe Peterson changes all that. My playing is so enjoyable now that I feel as if I have brand new instruments. You have to shop around to get the best price. The price differences among sellers can be as high as US$50, even more. I get mine with a very reasonable price at eBay. There are many sellers there.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Good tuner when it worked for the first ...
Good tuner when it worked for the first week. Now it will only torn on by holding a couple buttons down, can't change any settings(luckily its set to guitar tuning) and I can't turn it off. Again. Good Tuner,,,,but
I love these little tuners, and own a bunch, but the ones that stand out are the Poly Tune and Uni Tune!! I bought two of these Peterson tuners because they were $20.00 off the store price. I tried each one by itself, then both on the same guitar, it's hit or miss a few cents with the Peterson. The Poly and Uni leave no doubt where the tuning is, Peterson seems to float around and drop off to quick?? YMMV but I'm selling the Peterson!!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Too Exact / Perfect
This is a very accurate tuner... and more. Tuning by strobe is the desired method for any instrument. The Stroboclip HD tuner does that. I tuned my '75 Les Paul Deluxe to the "exact" tunings for every string. . . Strummed a chord.... hated it. It's too exact! Too static! Very accurate but not compact and stealth enough.

The tuner is accurate enough to get rid of certain small disharmonies that really bother me when I play the guitar.
