WOW extremely fast crossbow! Be ready to strain when you cock it.
Very impressed with the Ghost 425. Extremely fast! The one bolt assembly sounded easy but just remember you have to wiggle the bow part to get it to set inside assembly. Out of the box and assembled the scope's lighted crosshairs wouldn't go off at first but after pulling the battery out and putting it back in, it works fine now. This crossbow requires a Full Grown Man to cock it! The 206lbs draw weight isn't a joke. I pulled my old 185 will no problems but that extra 21lbs was shocking. Out of the box it shot way low, 8" low and 5" to the right at 10 yards. It took about 10 shots before I was satisfied. Moved it out to 20 and 30 yards and it shot a touch high. That could have been me pulling off but it was consistently high 3 shots each. Really looking forward to bow season to start! The only negative's I can come up with is, the cost of additional arrows. 55.00-65.00 for 3 is a bit more than I think arrows should cost. Granted they send you 3 with the crossbow but I can about guarantee you will lose your arrow shooting a deer as powerful as this crossbow is. 2nd is the placement of the sling eyes. I pulled the sling off my other crossbow and I could barely get the one on the stock side in. It is set on the side of the the stock and not the bottom. That would be the only negative I could find of the crossbow itself.

Hyper Ghost 425 ROCKS!!!
This is my second Barnett crossbow, I upgraded from the ghost 410. The Hyper Ghost is NASTY!!! I love the Trigger Tech trigger, absolutely no creep in it and it breaks nice and crisp. I really also like the addition of the counter balance arm in the stock, and the string stoppers. the scope is also much better than the scope that came on the 410. The speed Is awesome and the accuracy is incredible! I was hitting a 1” circle on my target shooting supported while sighting in. the only caveat to it is the proprietary arrows, they are great and work great but they are SOLD OUT everywhere on THE PLANET!!! I like to have more than 3 just in case. Sometimes even hitting an animal arrow loss is unavoidable. I’m on a back order list to purchase additional bolts. Other than that I love it!!!

Very consistent & accurate
Took off the scope that came with it and put on a Hawke 2-8x36 XB30 compact SR scope. Followed the scope instructions and calibrated the scope to this bow @ 425fps. Set up after that for 85yrds and it consistently held 4 inch groups at that distance. 40yrds & closer it will ruin arrows if you aim at the same spot. I give it 5 stars because it performed very well for me and is very accurate. I will trust this bow in the field hunting game. I changed the scope because I like & trust Hawke scopes and their reticals have yardage #'s so there's no guess which yardage your aiming when you shoulder it to shoot. It's fast, it's accurate and it's consistent, everything a hunter needs in a bow. Live free & hunt well.

Best slim profile crossbow value
If this were a ten point crossbow, it would be three times the price. I have sent a couple dozen arrows with it, and it flies hard and true. My only complaint is the placement of the quiver. Doesn’t make sense where they have you put it. Gets in the way of your hands so you pretty much have to take it off when you’re ready to hunt. No regrets with this purchase.

Register Warranty First thig
I shot this crossbow 4 times and then it miss fired and the string came off.So I took it to local shop they put string back on. Shot 2 more times miss fired ,string came off so I sent it back to Barnett under repair it's been 4 weeks and Barnett just sent E mail should get fixed/new crossbow this week.

Lightweight and accurate.
Very fast and accurate bow. Comes with everything needed to hunt. Easy to assemble and dial in. Light weight and easy to shoot.

Super deadly and bad to the bone
This 425 is supper dynamite,been shooting at 40 yards out and still just driven the arrows thru the target. At the price for the bow,scope,rope,paid real desent price for a very powerfull crossbow.
