This adjustable safety bed rail is perfect for my 96 year old mother. It fits her bed perfectly, allowing space for her to get in and out without problems. The space it covers on her 9" mattress is adequate to prevent her from rolling over during sleep. It's frame is sturdy, hard metal, good quality finishing. A great lightweight assist tool.
I ordered this bed rail for my wife. She had a recent in home accident. The doctor recommended a bed rail. She is very happy with this rail. She uses it to help her get in and out of bed. Solid grab bar, right size for me
Installation was easy--our mattress has plywood under it, and it fits in a wood bed frame, so the rail is solid without using the strap that goes under the mattress. But when I take it on trips I'll use the strap. I find I don't need to extend the rail, but I may need that someday. Able Life Rail Not As Easy to Operate as the Video Shows
