Specialist item, but great for those who understand what it does.
If thinking of buying any security key do read about it first. Be sure about what you are buying and how you will use it. These are specialist items. The YubiKey 4 does most of the things the current YubiKey 5 does, but not all. If buying a YubiKey 4 then understand the differences. Only buy one if you are sure that is what you want. The key arrived in unopened packaging. It took a few hours to fully get to grips with it, but I'm very pleased with it. I subsequently bought a second YubiKey 4, for use as a backup. They secure startup of my computers, as well as access to some software. One lives with my house keys.
