Best book for Mah Jongg beginners
I've always wanted to learn how to play Mah Jongg and quickly realized that there was much more to this game than the online video games. This book came highly recommended to me by a friend who now plays weekly. Her fellow players said this is the best book for beginners. Great book! Couldn't imagine how a book could take away my headache trying to understand this game...but it DID!! Well written, clear and concise. Great photos, summary sheets, explanations clear and concise. Love chapter summaries and self quizzes! They helped a lot! Excellent guide for beginner
I've loooked at a number of beginner's mah jongg books and this is the best one so far. I think it would be too basic for anyone with more experience but if you are just starting out, this book is perfect. Good Reference Tool
Book written using the 2004 card for referencing so not able to use a current 2021card. Good descriptions of tiles, hands, setting up, etc. Lots of pictures.
