The OG Cadillac of Bows
Had my eyes on this 1966 Bear Kodiak #65 in left hand twice. Lost out and the winner didnt pay up. So next time I scooped it up and other than a tiny bit of blemish this thing is mint and rockets arrows with much great authority than my #45 Grizzley. I put a really good string on it and a fresh beaver fur strike plate and rest and made wool silencer balls and wool limb tip silencers. This bow is deadly quiet and accurate out to probably a good 40yds once I get some nice heavy arrows tuned well. I love the brown limbs and the brown and white layering of the fiberglass on the riser. It really is one of the most beautiful, powerful, accurate and quiet of any recurve I've had in my hand. I am looking forward to many more years of use out of this 55+ year old heirloom quality bow.
