As good as you will find on ebay.
Questions about compactness, ease of operation and ease of cleaning do not applicable to FILTERS. I received FILTERS, as I ordered FILTERS. They are PUR filters, after quite a lapse in this product on the market. They do not filter as quickly as usual, so I expect that these are not a fresh as they might be, hence the four star rating. Only PUR filters work in PUR water pitchers.

Pur water filters
Have had great luck with these filters. Like most products, some don't last as long, but they're great.

Have been using these for years
I used this product before. Like the maxion pitcher filters better but seems you can't get them anymore so this was the alternative.
