YAMAHA RX-A2070 4K HDR RECIEVER
Just wow. WOW. I didn’t want to spend this much but I’m sure glad I did. I didn’t know what to expect. I needed a 4K receiver for a 65” OLED tv I bought. Previously I had a Sony str1030 with a boss center speaker, Bose 201 & 165 surrounds with klipsch tower speakers and a 12” BIC powered sub. So mid grade speakers. I thought it sounded good. NOPE. After plugging this in and setting it up via the downloadable app & using the yapo set up mic I was absolutely blown away. It devastated the Sony. Not even comparable. Literally got that warm feeling all over. Sounds like your live with the band. Warm, clear just ripping sound. After I set up the speakers I plugged in my new 4K Apple TV and it up upconverted a HBO series noticeably better than the day before. Only thing worth noting is be aware it’s pretty big. 18” deep. But it is SOLID. Like serious business solid. Heavy. I love it. Worth every dollar, it’s just a bad MF. If you got the money.... spend it

A great replacement for my Onkyo with sound issues.
I bought the Yamaha because my 2nd Onkyo in 6 years-- the sound went out. This is a common problem with Onkyo . This receiver also has 3 zones, so I have Maine, Pool and living room.. all can be listening to something different. I did find that using the manual adjustment on the sound worked better then the automatic. You won't be disappointed with the sound and the power this receiver puts out. I couldn't turn it all the way up.. but as far as I could tolerate it, it was crystal clear.

awesome product once you understand how to operate all functions
great product, offers many features. if you are good with understanding this type of equipment and how to use it you will not be disappointed at all. can't say enough good things about it, its that good recommend this Yamaha product

Superb receiver
This has got to be one of the top receivers ever made. The sound quality is tremendous and the set-up is very easy. Having to deal with a frustrating Pioneer Elite for several years the Yamaha is refreshingly excellent.

Excellent Deal!
The product arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. I bought this Yamaha receiver to replace my 5-year old Yamaha receiver because I wanted to upgrade to Atmos/DTS:X 3D sound technology. The music sound quality is excellent! I like the greater number of surround sound options on this receiver compared to my last one. I have not completely set up the speakers for Atmos/DTS:X so will need to come back later to update my review on the Atmos.

Great sound and worthy of the near top of the line status
Lots of inputs, 7 HDMI and 9.2 channel support allow for a flexible setup. Calibration is fast and accurate, and work with all channels including two subs. Plenty of power for the full tower speakers. Unless you need even more power or more channels, this is more than adequate and there is no need for the next model up.

Great Product
I originaly purchased a Denon unit..I was very disappointed by the difficulty of use, and the overall lack of dynamics..I spent more money for the Yamaha but it was well worth..I finally have exactly what I was looking for..

Loaded receiver
This receiver has everything, plenty of power, handles 4K HDR 10, Dolby Vision, HLG, Bluetooth, WiFi, and had the processing power to make everything sound amazing. The most useful feature is the YPAO Volume and A.DRC, that keep all the dialogue at listenable levels, EVEN WHEN THE VOLUME IS LOW!...so you can hear what they’re saying and when a bomb goes off, you hear everything clearly but at a low volume. It has almost every feature I’ve ever heard a receiver having and looks good also. Highly recommend it.

Great deal on an amazing receiver!
Replaced my 8 year old Yamaha and the difference is amazing! Upgraded to 4K and 3D video and my speakers and subwoofer have never sounded better! Bluetooth and Ethernet connections sealed the deal.
