In 1962 England, conservative, demure violinist Florence and brash, working class graduate student Edward fall in love despite their different backgrounds. The resulting fight changes the course of their relationship.

Excellent interpretation of a fine book
If you liked the book you will the movie, magnificent lead performances. The film is cleverly edited with the lengthy final scenes sequenced throughout the movie.
