It's sheer pleasure, no guilt allowed., Daily Telegraph UK - It was enormously refreshing to see an epic, gruesome fantasy series told from a female perspective, and Balfe maintained a lovely balance of bewilderment at her situation, rational assessment and defiant competence in dealing with it.

Engaging time travel drama
First series which sets up the storyline and characters for later series. I think this is the best.of them, because of the authentic setting, costumes and beautiful Scottish landscape. The acting is excellent throughout, with new and well known actors bringing the story vividly to life. There is plenty of action, romance and humour .The music is also worthy of note.

A great achievement
Excellent series about time travel through Scottish and English history. Watch season one and you'll be hooked. If you're a Scot you'll be proud

Compulsive Viewing
A really great series that is compulsive viewing. Real character development and a plot that holds one from episode to episode.

Excellent.
Firstly the packaging and quality of the product was excellent. The series itself is turning out to be captivating, I've completed watching season 1 already. Looking to acquire the follow up seasons.
