Excellent hedge trimmer, made easy work of those usually hard to reach places. Felt a little heavy at full length but I am 70y and not as strong as I used to be. Thank you, very pleased.

Quality product
Good quality as expected from Makita. Cuts through cm thick branches if gently hold it there. Can be a little heavy when operating at an angle eg sweeping the side of a hedge but produces a great finish. Single battery is powerful enough.

Great! My husband has makita tools so he has the batteries to fit this hedge trimmer. Which cut our 100ft long holly hedge with no trouble at all. Very pleased with it, so much better than our old petrol trimmer which is quite heavy. Will recommend.

I have a 10 foot high by 40 foot long hedge that needed cutting, it took my 30 minutes, my only gripe would be it’s a bit on the heavy side, and the safety buttons is to small and is annoying, but you can’t go wrong with MAKITA.

A little heavier than I was expecting but I think this is the way to go if you are an little less agile a gardener ,a good run time on the 18 volt batteries would recommend

Typical Makita build quality and performance.
Excellent build quality with a solid feel, though this does mean it feels slightly heavier than I expected. Little vibration when in use and good reach when fully extended. I can reach everywhere I need to without having to try and balance on ladders, so much safer to use. Based on the LXT battery platform so completely interchangeable with my other tools. Typical Makita quality and performance.
