Classic Film Made A Perfect Gift
I selected this fine film to send to a favorite person. Thank you for secure packaging and prompt delivery. Film is about a famous WWII general who was rather a cuss but got results. Fascinating man! Well-researched so how long ago the events took place or how long ago the film was made have little relevance. Classic! Real Life is always interesting!

great movie
one of George C. Scott's, best movies outside of the Changeling which was one of his last. Patton is a great & true war story of a true American hero, of whom I believe was murdered by our government or military sad to say.

His name says it all.
Really enjoyed it.Played it for our residents and had a Veteran from the 82nd Airbourne join us for the first time.. He has some marvelous stories and loves to talk about his service and the brave men he served with. It truly was the “Greatest Generation.”

A solid winner
After having seen this film many times since its first theater release, I was pleased to see that it was as good as ever, with no loss of freshness and power. One of my favorites, and it looks like it will remain one.

As good as a movie can get when giving true history
I've seen this movie several times since it first came out and I'm always mesmerized by it. I am mostly through the 800+ page book it's based on and am amazed at the fidelity to what actually happened. It's impossible to compact the total Patton WW2 history into a normal length movie, but this one comes very close. It is a collection of selected snippets of Patton's actual recorded words, deeds, trials, frustrations, and superb accomplishments artistically arranged to tell a coherent story. It is as accurate as it can get within the confines of a normal length movie. What you see in this movie is the real Paton. You won't be bored. I'd give it six stars if that were possible.

General Patton
The DVD was excellent and produce a clear pciture of General Patton, the greatist American general of WWII. General Patton was right about not trusting the Russians once germany was defeated towards the end of WWII.
