Quality Show
I highly recommend this dvd set of Madame Secretary. The show is high quality. The characters are believable, the language refrains from profanity, and the family dynamics demonstrate a loving family with strong parents. They aren't perfect, but the parents obviously love each other, and love their children, which sustains the family through difficult situations. The political situations are timely and could have been taken from current headlines.

Absolutely loved this series.
Absolutely loved this series. I am not watching the season 2, which is available now, because I like to binge watch once the series is available on CD. My only concern is that the producers will go to an exagerated mode of theatrics to make the stories more interesting. This does happen quite often. An example is the House of Cards: here the stories are sometimes so far fetched that make the viewer uneasy.

Great political drama
One of the best political dramas on tv. The acting is outstanding, the storylines are engaging and sometimes parallel to reality and the suspense keeps you coming back for more, I would highly recommend this series to any political enthusiast!

Great show. great stories, great characters.
Loved the show and the characters. Only wish, we really had smart politicians like her, who want to do the right things and care about the well being of everybody in this country.

Totally engaging
The characters in this series are convincing in their roles. You will be able to relate to them. Each episode will keep you engaged and on the edge of your seat. This is a "must have" series.

Excellent on how our government run with the challenges in the arena of this world events.

Least I can keep up with the show.
Most of the time I was lost in West Wing. This had great stories, and great actors.
