MY BEST CHRISTMAS BOOK
For years and years a friend and I have shared the Take Joy, a Christmas book by Tasha Tudor. Back in more simple times I found "bargain books" for both of us, at our local bookseller. Every year I now bring out my old, and somewhat worn copy; I have used the recipe for Christmas Tree Gingerbread countless times, and have read the tales to children over and over. I use quotes from the book in my own Christmas greetings. This book is a MUST have! Beautiful and useful book
For fans of Tasha Tudor's artwork, this is a real find. A little bit of everything...Christmas carols, recipes, stories and crafts, all illustrated beautifully in color or black and white with her art. Some wonderful ideas for an old-fashioned Christmas that you can start with your family.
