Compact store of information.Does the job
It is the second one I have bought, the first nearing the end of its life after many years of life . It is an ideal compact store of information and secure from hackers (unless you choose to interact with the web) Works for me. AMAZING RETRO TECH
I first had one of these (old monochrome version) in 2000 then a colour one a couple of years later. I ran my life on it - diary & appointments, contacts, to do lists, shopping lists, money manager. Still cannot do without it. I know that I could transfer all this to my smartphone but none of the phone apps are any better plus I would have to manually transfer all the data.... very painstaking. Some of the Tungsten apps are far better even now. So I just buy remaining unopened Tungstens and synch them with my Palm Desktop in order to always have a working one. I'm on my fourth now. I also love the ability to handwrite everything (hate the tiny phone screen keyboards) using the stylus and have the Tungsten convert it to text. Not sure about battery life. The only 'fault' seems to be that the stylus is minus its tip. Is that all?
