Watts 500899
I travel in my work and have always liked having instant hot water in hotels. Now I have it at home! I don't have a big house, but nevertheless, it takes a while for hot water to get to the master bedroom bath. I installed the sensor valve there and the Watts pump at the water heater in the attic. I don't like using pliers on fittings, so I bought some (cheap) big wrenches at Harbor Freight. I also had to buy two more lines and some pipe dope at Home Depot to complete the job. Fortunately, I had already put an electrical outlet near the water heater. You need to get everything together and ready before starting since the water must be turned off. Its been a couple months and I am well pleased.

All time hot water
It is a great asset. So many gallons of water is wasted while we wait for the water to get hot. This is a simple fix. The unit is easy to attach to your water tank and pretty simple to install the bypass unit. Hot water circulates when you want it to.

Everyone should have one
Bought mine over 8 months ago and love it. Saves precious well water. Bought this one for my son for a Christmas present. He is also on a well and will enjoy the water savings. We get hot water at the furthest place (shower) within 5 seconds instead of one minute as before.Love to save water!

Works as expected and easy hook-up
Super easy to hook up...less than an hour start-to-finish. Plan ahead and consider additional parts you might need at the water heater connections as many homes vary on connection pipe; PEX, copper, PVC and you'll surely need some fittings or modifications there.

At the far bathroom It doesn't provide instant hot water but at least its instant warm and goes get hot much sooner. The far bath room is probably around an 80' run so maybe thats to be expected. Haven't had it long enuf to comment on longevity or the the negative impact on energy consumption. EZ installation, draining the water took 3/4 of the time. I gave it 3 stars but wudda gone 3.5 it were an option

A word of caution
Works great, but.........if you have a large home, you will need to order a 2nd sensor valve and install it in parallel with the first one! I found this out the hard way. On a smaller house they work as advertised.

Instant hot water from the water tank heater!
Works great, and we love having the instant hot water, but now we don't have instant cold water. Adjusting the timer helps to less infrequent helps, but we still get hot in all of our cold lines.

Won't work with tankless water heater
I researched this item and found nothing in the manual that indicated it could not be used with a tankless water heater. After installing and discovering it would not work and waiting two hours on the company's phone help line I was told the manual I had was updated and now indicates the device won't work with a tankless water heater. I spent a lot of time installing and taking unit back off. A simple disclaimer would have been helpful.

YAY! Something that works as it should.
Great to have hot water NOW, instead of letting it run for awhile to get to the faucet. My husband and I put it in ourselves, took about an hour. The instructions are very good, we had a little bit of misunderstanding about the timer instructions. Didn't take long to figure out though. If you have a very large house, I would recommend buying two valves. Ours is about 2000 sq. feet, and the faucet furthest from the hot water heater is under out kitchen sink. Hot water comes on very fast there, but not as quickly in our master bath. (But a lot faster than before.)

Great Product
We have had this before. Wouldn't be without it. Work great. So nice to have hot water without running all kinds of water before you finally get hot water.
