Epson XP-455
I needed a spare inkjet printer/scanner for upstairs to scan old documents for archiving and maybe occasional printing. So did not want to spend a lot of money on a new printer. This was good value for money. Another thing to keep in mind is compatible cartridges are much cheaper for older models than new ones. Two or three cartridge sets for new models can cost more than the printer. Not having the original driver CD, I downloaded drivers which was no problem. But installing them was hit and miss affair. Having previous experience I managed.

A printer that is good when it works!
This printer gave up working after 3 months. Now shows" printer error "on screen. The error code that is showing is not recognised by the printer. Unable to clear error so I've decided to dump it in the bin.
