Great step from earlier models
Upgraded to the L308XU from an earlier one, the aperture priority is actually really useful and I seem to get better exposure results from this latest model too. Especially using reflected mode. Some will argue you don't need one with modern digital cameras. Some say it speeds things up in a needed way. And even this can get controversial. Prices vary a bit, as ever......It does what it says on the tin.
