Flexible, functional and gets the job done
Delivers. This sign is a good starting point if you need to do a bit of customization, easy to disassemble and constructed entirely of plastic. I needed to change the color (spray paint) and mount to the top of a mail box. The design allowed me to use a couple of bolts in place of the provided stakes for mounting to the mailbox with satisfactory results. Scuffing the plastic and sprayed with a paint formulated for plastic also worked well. On reassembly, I added some silicon sealer around the top to improve weather proofing. One additional modification was to paint the backside of the letters silver to reduce the shadow cast in the reflective surface behind the numbers (which reduced daytime readability). This helped only minimally. The only con is the three white LEDS provide point sources of light and the sign would look much better at night if the light were diffused more. I was unable to find anything at hand I could use to diffuse the LED light. On the plus side, the lights remain on and bright all night long. Overall, very happy with the performance and appearance thus far. Battery life remains to be seen as the unit has only been in operation several days. I would recommend this sign and purchase again if I ever need another solar-powered, lighted house address sign.

Terrible, don't buy!
Not well made, when you put the numbers on there are little slots to put them in, which we did, but they fall out no matter what you do. The sign is too loose to hold them. I tried gluing them and since it's outdoors they fell off, nothing holds them. I finally found a glue that holds them temporarily but I have to keep gluing them back on. I didn't return it because I had already put it into the ground, so no, I can't recommend this sign, very disappointed.

Great addition to my curb appeal!
Nice solar light! I installed a plexiglass cover over it to protect the white background from dirt. They need to have one included in the updated model. I bought 2 and have them mounted on both sides of my brick mailbox. I bought 300mh replacement batteries and they work as intended(they include 2 200mh in the package). Must be placed where they can get daily sun. Make sure they're spaced evenly before locking the faceplate cover down. Nice addition to my home and I'm the only one with sign like this in my upscale neighborhood! Get ready for compliments and neighbor envy once this is hung on your property.

Need something to diffuse the 3 light bulbs.
The idea is great. There are 3 little bulbs that shine in between a couple numbers. I'm going to try putting a piece of white tissue paper in front of bulbs and behind the numbers to diffuse the 3 lights. Right now you can't see the numbers as the bulbs are so bright.

It is ok but could burn longer and have a whiter back drop so the numbers would show up.
It works as said but it does go out after about four hours and I had to put a whiter back ground insert in behind the numbers without it the numbers did not show up as well.

Good Value, Imperfect Lighting
The only issue with this sign is that the bulbs inside don't light evenly, so it's hard to read the numbers. I'm going to try a sheet of parchment paper or wax paper to diffuse the light a little better.

Solar address sign
Very nice address sign, easy to install. Can be installed in the yard or on the house. Only one side shows address numbers.
