Works great! Included cable. ESC key in different spot than expected.
This keyboard was just what I was looking for to get my Apple ][GS working again. It came with a cable where several others in eBay didn't. Since it was designed to work with a MacIntosh and a Apple ][gs, the ESC key was in a different place than my ][gs keyboard. I was concerned when I didn't see it in the upper-left corner but found it next to the Space Bar. The Apple ][gs uses the ESC key in conjunction with the Apple and Control keys to bring up the Control Panel. You have to use the Control Panel to lower the system speed in order to play most of the games that were designed for the Apple ][, ][plus and ][e. Thanks for keeping this relic around for me.
The Apple Keyboard II is a small and stylish keyboard from Apple, built in 1990 - it is still stylish as of today. It was designed for the Performa series, but works with any Apple computer that has the famous Apple Serial Bus. Though some function and command keys are oddly placed, it doesn't take away from the comfort and responsiveness of them. If you are a collector of retro Apple gear, you'll definitely want to grab an Apple Keyboard II. They look and feel fantastic along side an Apple Macintosh SE and/or SE/30.
