The honorable art quilters of Gees bend.
I am so thrilled to receive this book. I have poured over it and still haven’t scratched the surface. I have great love and respect for the women of Gees Bend who tell their stories through the art of quilting that comes through living life. Use it up. Wear it out. Make it do or do without. The book is masterfully done recording their history and their quilting, Well done!

A great source of information about the Gees Bend quilts and their talented makers
If you want to learn about the quilts of Gees Bend and the women who made them, this is a great book. It is huge, with great pictures.
