A few months down the line!!
I've have always been a fan of the Xperia range of Sony phones (excluding the compacts which I found the screen brakes to easy) and the Xperia 1 ii is no exception, it's light, fast (processing power), amazing camera as always but even better with the Alpha tech integrated into the phone. On top of that it's has a beautiful screen which online the aforementioned compact Z ranges from a few years ago is heavy duty, with standing falls/drop from Jean pocket hight. Yes I have mine in a case as every phone owner should but this in the past has stop screen from braking. It's currently the most updated module of the Sony phone's on the market and really stand up well against other brands I've owned before (iPhones/Samsung/Google) even out performing some of these brands. I've even been very impressed with battery life, I use mine a lot to listen to music during work hours and still have plenty left for getting home. Even with a Bluetooth headset, I can't recommend this phone enough people's. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I love this phone so much
Absolutely amazing phone the screen and speakers are incredible, the smart features are fantastic. Battery life is incredible for such a high res large screen and high-performance components. Only issue is the auto brightness which is a crazy robot and I recommend turning it off if you want to be able to see your phone screen.

From IOS to Android
Hi I made the decision to switch to Sony Android after having an Iphone a while. It takes a bit of getting used to android after IOS. I downloaded the like for like apps. The camera is good and the versatility of the Sony Pro Camera apps makes this phone all the more interesting. The build quality is good. My network was ok on the Iphone but the In built Antenna struggled with reception on my current network. I have had many Sony phones and tablets before. By. buying this phone hopefully it may help me in transitioning from Nikon DSLRs to the Sony Alphas range. It is easier to transition into IOS than vice versa nevertheless I hope to enjoy this phone and use its features to their full potential.

Top quality phone for photographers!
Sony Xperia 1 II - Absolutely delighted - Battery lasts longer than one day: so no battery anxiety - The really wonderful thing about Sony is the Photo Pro application which put photographs and video into a different league: since it utilises software tricks from their camera and video products. TO be fair I wanted a back up camera. - The split screen is a nifty adaptation. - The tall aspect ratio screen is great: when the keyboard pops up it doesn't interfere with viewing - And viewing video horizontal the speakers do a great job imaging the sound!

Sony Xperia 1 ii A little underwhelming but not a bad effort from Sony. Expected more from a £1000 flagship phone! a
It's a good phone. I had a Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5g so that's what I compared it to. I wanted a phone with a headphone socket so went for this one. It's a very plastically design and the UI isn't as slick as the Samsung. Wish they had a larger model with quad screen but Sony don't appear to do one. It's much cheaper than the Samsung so I can't complain. Think I will switch back to the Samsung.
