hard to beat for the pricepoint, in underwater cameras.
you either have to spend 2x-4x as much, or you settle for a very limited, average quality and ability, underwater camera. this is NOT for deep diving in the ocean or lakes. it IS great for snorkeling, the pool, on the lake, boat, shallow diving, etc, and you just cant "break the bank" for an underwater camera. i had an older model of this, XP80 or 100, cant remember, lost it a few years ago. there ARE superior underwater cameras, to be sure, but, the cost is dear, and unless you truly NEED a camera for 50' or more dives ? those cameras quality of photo and abilities for general underwater, beach, and pool photos, dont justify the price. a genuine small zoom, NOT digital, which ONLY ENLARGES THE PIXELS ! ! ! you dont have a true zoom when they say " 10x digital zoom".. i wont BUY a "digital zoom only camera" of any kind. they suk at quality photos and always lag in abilities. i wanted a good compromise, for MY needs.. Pool,, light snorkeling/shallow ocean diving. this camera fits that bill to a Tee... its about perfect. there IS a newer model, the XP140.. feel free to buy brand new, get the warranty, etc. I was trying to save even more money, AND get a good camera, i did both. I bought a used camera with little wear and tear. so if you need more than the cheap $60-90 "underwater" cameras from China, but dont have the budget or NEED for a $500 Olympus.. the Fuji FinePix XP lineup, is pretty much "ready made" for casual underwater photography, action photos in the pool, beach, or SNOW... easily a top recommended buy for its price point.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great features.

Don’t waist your money.
1. There is no way to attach all the Sport Attachments to the Camera. 2. The battery charger was missing, and after several hours of USB charging the included battery would not take a charge. Had to order new ones. 3. There was no Owner manual or instruction. Downloaded the 140 page manual online. 4. After using all the different settings was unable to get even a close focus. 4. Scuba diving
My 14 yr loves scuba diving and needed a better diving camera. This one is great easy to use and retrieve pictures. He cant wait to take more pictures

Good camera but
Camera is fine, but this is the 2nd one that will show an error saying door (chip/battery) not closed to the point you have to keep opening and closing it to get it to go away, frustrating. When you never had the door open in the first place.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Generalüberholt

fun in the water
