Good product and easy to install.
The freewheel was easy to install. However, we had to buy a couple tools. But once we had the tools it was easy to do. We did watch some videos before trying it on our own. Perfect for keeping my 7-speed rear gearing alive
This is a genuine Shimano NOS part that is no longer manufactured. With both internal and external threading, it will work with either a 7-speed Uniglide or Hyperglide cassette. I used it to replace the 8-speed freehub that originally came on a new wheelset, since I run 7-speed rear gearing on my road bike. By installing this freehub, I was able to eliminate the need for a 4mm spacer behind the cassette, and thus return my rear hub spacing (between dropouts) to the original 126mm. Note that this part did not include the hollow fixing bolt (to fasten it to the hub), but the fixing bolt that came with my 8-speed wheel had sufficiently long threading to enable its use with this freehub.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Perfect match for an old bike
My old one failed and started skipping, making my bike miserable to ride. This part appears to be new old stock, as the grease in the packaging looked to be darn near 30 years old. Went together with no hassle, and works like a charm. The last couple years my bike couldn't petal backwards without messing up the chain. Works good.
This is an old model (NOS) free hub body. It was NOT Shimano's premium top of the line model when new but it is exactly what I needed to replace a 26 year old free hub that was made without an inner seal when it was new. Fit 7 speed cassette!
