Beware of "Used" Labels
Arrived covered in dirt, with some water and debris left in the recepitcal. The entire thing REEKS of urine and there was a dark mold-like substance underneath the right recepitcle. When tested, the spray nozzle does not work, which is the main part of the upholstery cleaner. Great Convenience
I first used one of these at work cleaning small areas. It worked so well I bought one for my wife for Christmas! LOL It was really for me as she has a dog that pees on the carpet often. This machine is perfect for that use as well as cleaning upholstery, etc. Its easy to use and easy to rinse out and I keep it ready for those situations. It is what it is, if you give it a chance.
There are some negative OLDER reviews on other sites. Bissell seems to have addressed and fixed most of them. It works as described if you follow the instructions. If you are using yesterday's water/cleaner solution, give it time to warm up. This is not a steamer/vacuum. It's a wet-vac. Be careful with the rotating head. As the water runs through a secondary/smaller tube/hose within the vacuum hose, the water feed can crimp and all but tourniquet itself to a dribble. I ended up taping the head and hose together, forcing me to use the head at it's factory made position. No water tube crimping since. Worth the extra money for the heat!
