Warhammer 8th Edition
The newest revision of the Warhammer rules are simpler, faster, and more fun than 7th edition and it's clear a lot of emphasis was put on making the hobby more fun and reducing the need to meta-game. * These rules are for Warhammer 40k, the 30k/Horus Heresy rules have been spun out and are now provided by Forge World. * The new rules greatly improve game speed by making games easier to set up, armies easier to put together, and simplifying terrain details, without loosing too much in the way of gameplay. They also change some aspects of the game round and how the turn progresses to keep the pace up throughout. Stratagems and objectives have been reworked to add some flair to a simple battle, and the new Keywords system greatly expands inter-army deployment options whilst laying the groundwork for Codex-specific rules in the future. At present (Sept 2017), each army uses the combined Indexes rather than army specific Codexes, to allow every army access to the new rules at once. New Codexes will be coming out in quick succession shortly. The rule book itself is very well made and the new artwork is great. Rules start around page 150 and there's plenty of fluff regarding the state of the Imperium and the wider galaxy. Definitely worth picking up at least one copy for a gaming group interested in 40k 8th ed. and worth getting one for yourself if you're interested in the artwork or fluff of Warhammer 40k. * This book is also available as a PDF from Games Workshop.

Good Set of Rules!
