Julia Child is Delightfully Amazing!
She has caused me to lose my fear of trying new techniques, cookware, and out-of-the-ordinary (for me) recipes (that really are quite simple) and inspired me to move out of my box. For example, I tried her whirlpool method for poaching eggs -- my egg turned out perfectly and it was fun to do and watch. My attempt at my first omelet ever wasn't as successful -- they became scrambled eggs, but I will try again. Her shows (and cookbooks) are full of simple, helpful tips, excellent information, and grand humor. It's very obvious that she loves to cook -- and teach.
