Wonderful Illustrations Give Clear Meanings!
This deck is beautifully illustrated with detailed imagery. The card stock is light and plastic coated, so the deck is easy to shuffle. However, a couple of the cards started splitting immediately. I have not contacted the publisher (US Games Inc.) see if I can get replacement cards, but I am paying attention to see if other cards split and it becomes problematic for the whole deck. One thing that's odd is that some of the figures face or move in a direction opposite to what they do in RSM and other popular decks. When I first started reading with these cards, it was confusing since I was used to certain Knights rushing (or walking) in one direction, while here, they move in the opposite direction—notably the Knight of Swords charges to the left, where in the RSM he charges to the right. This can be problematic if you orient the future toward the right and past toward the left and you're used to your Knight of Swords charging into the future! On the other hand, the cards do speak to each other—figures move toward other frames, and characters show clear emotion about their actions. All these things offer extra layers of meaning in addition to the traditional RSM and TDM meanings. The little white book offers extra explanation that illuminates how the deck came about and offers insight into numbers and suits that will help you build a solid "vocabulary" around your cards and readings. I love this deck and find it reads very clearly for me—at the moment, I'm reading intuitively, gleaning meaning from the situations depicted in the cards, not relying heavily on numerology and mysticism. These cards are great for a modern reader in that way. Last note - this is the only deck I own (I have 30 or so now) where I LOVE the image of the Tower. It appears to be disintegrating, not blowing up as traditional—and adds a little extra meaning to the traditional "abrupt change" message.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
