MAKITA DMR109W DAB / FM DAB SITE RADIO 240V
Brought the makita DAB site radio as I wanted something easy to use and that can take a few knocks in the van. Well after using it for the day it's brilliant . Easy to use even before reading the instructions. Uses the makita range of batteries from 10.8 v up to the 18v obviously the higher the amp the longer you get usage wise. Mine Are all 5amp and after a days usage only used 2 bars used. There are 2 aux inputs one at the rear in the bat compartment and one at the front under the rubber flap the mains adaptor is also next to it. Press the main volume button in when in dab mode to select dab stations and then press it again to play it. Easy to program preselected channels just press and hold a number to save . If when you unpack the radio you can't find the arial it is on the packaging flaps. It won't charge your batteries no problem though. The small usb is for software upgrades and not for connecting phones no problem there. Fair bit of bass from a small radio good though. It is a bit bulky but this enables it to take the knocks and bangs of daily site life . Makita need to make a bluetooth plugin for this radio like dewalt. Definatly a good buy 5 stars are not enough. Yeah! this radio is everything it should be, can't go wrong with Makita. Very good reception through it's twin speakers, and very easy to programme, comes with two AA back up batteries so that you never lose the clock readout. Great Sound
