Really good quality reusable ear plugs, not quite enough of a dB reduction for my needs.
I've used foam earplugs for many years, and hoped that these would be as good or close in terms of noise blockage - but they aren't unfortunately. They are exceptional quality (my wife uses the green sleeping ones and is on her second set - she loves them). I'm sure they will provide many years of service, however if you want the best dB reduction for long rides - you can't go past the foamies. I use Howard Leight - Laser lite, and they are definitely better. Do I recommend them - depends on your needs. The PRO is that they do their job very well, better than Pinlock (IMO). The CON is that they are $60AU.
I watched a review of these on Youtube. They compared them with Pinlock, and suggested that these were better. I had Pinlock, and was a fan, even though they gave this feeling of pressure in the ear, and didn't secure easily i.e. would pop out when I removed my helmet. I ended up loosing one of them, so ended up searching around and found Alpine to buy. I dunno, the asking price is really steep and is why I rated 4 stars and not great value. But they work, and they work really well. They are comfortable, really comfortable... but you still know they are there. They block wind noise totally around the city, and mostly on the freeway. Still hear the engine (muffled). Still hear sirens and horns. Still hear music from helmet speakers, but with no fidelity. The PRO is that they do their job very well, better than Pinlock (IMO). Motorcycle earplugs

Good value.
Purchased mainly for when I'm riding, and they are good, but also to help filter out the noise of snoring and barking dogs when sleeping. Both the red and black do the job.
