  • The Definitive Book about Animated Cartoons

As an adult in my mid-forties, I've always been a cartoon affictionado. It's always been a weekend ritual for me to be sitting in front of the TV set every Saturday morning eating a bowl full of my favorite cereal in milk, and tuning in to a verifiable cavalcade of various animated cartoon characters ranging from Bugs Bunny, to Fred Flintstone, to Popeye, and the Super Friends. For me, it was definitely an overload of animation, and I absolutely loved it! And this book is definitely a virtual trip down memory lane! I liked how the book is divided into separate decades, Beginning with the 60's, the 70's, the 80's, the 90's, and beyond! There's even the commercials in between too! I'm so glad that the authors of this book, were able to maintain the colorfully vibrant and whimsical energy that permeated whenever these classic cartoons were emblazoned on the screen! Great fun, Good times, and Great memories! A wonderful trip back to reliving my childhood memories! I was born in 1972, and I wish there was a way to show these cartoons on TV all over again!!!
