Based on the acclaimed 2013 young adult sci-fi novel by Rick Yancey, The 5th Wave follows a sixteen-year-old survivor of a catastrophic alien invasion. The intense film, directed by J Blakeson, follows Cassie (Chloe Grace Moretz), a student leading a normal life with a crush on football star Ben (Nick Robinson) before aliens invade Earth and kill millions of humans. Now, Cassie must stuggle for survival, and is forced to decide who she can trust in order to retrieve her kidnapped brother (Zackary Arthur).
