No more carrying heavy bottles!
I had a Soda Stream thirty years ago and used it a lot. This newer version is very sleek, doesn't take up much room on the worktop and is very easy to use - just position the reusable bottle beneath the nozzle and click into place then press the button on the top. Works well, ? Cylinder will last for 60litres.
Pleased with purchase so far.... wanted to reduce plastic bottles of water. Machine itself seems a bit flimsy plastic but does the job. The gas cylinder states it will give 60 litres of sparkling water..... however it doesn’t say with how many depressions of the button. This can be between 2-5 for each bottle. I guess the 60 litres will be on average with just 2 presses of gas per litre. We need to give 5-6 to get the same level of fizz as bottled fizzy water. .... so anticipate will run out after about 25 litres. We will see....Also waiting on delivery of a tonic syrup. Innovative design
The last soda stream I had was about 30 years ago! This new one is a sleek modern design. Easy to use, purchase included an offer for a second gas cylinder at half price. It needs more than 3-5 short presses to make the drink fizzy to an acceptable taste. I would have liked at least one small bottle of flavour syrup to have been included, or discount voucher towards buying some. No information included about buying the flavour syrups. mixing the fizzy water with Bicarbonate of soda doesn't make actual soda water , I tried it. easy to use and actually matches my kitchen gadgets
Loved this as a kid, so I had to get myself one. Cant make it work!
I bought this product to reduce my use of plastic bottles to create sparkling water. I’ve tried and tried but have only been able to make water with a vague bit of fizz. Great wee planet saver!
I love sparkling water & drink it plain or with flavours added every day. Using the Sodastream means I no longer have to pile up plastic bottles for recycling.
