A Sleeping City In The Darkness Of Outer Space With Strange Aliens In Charge
This is a very strange and intriguing, science fiction movie laced with heavy doses of film noir elements. It's got a lot in common with "The Matrix" and is just as good as "The Matrix" and some say better. It's all about an alien race that has abducted thousands of humans and placed them in a fake city. That city is located in far, outer space with no sun. The purpose is to study humans and discover what makes them tick. Things get pretty weird but we have a hero who finds a way to save the day. It's great entertainment and this Blu-ray copy is extra sharp.

I did in the product review section
Excellent cast. Excellent direction. Excellent script. Original story that keeps you thinking about the ride you went on for days and days. So much so that you have no choice but to re-watch the movie trying to decipher the entirety of the whole. It's a movie that in my opinion is telling us some underlying mysteries of the world in which we inhabit. Very reminiscent of The Truman Show. Just a different story told in the genre of Sci-Fi. I highly highly recommend this movie. Especially to those who like a movie that gets better every time you see it. ENJOY.

Dark City is a thinkers Sci Fi
I first watched Dark City in the 90's as a teenager and didnt get it, wasnt drawn in, never watched the full movie. Now in 2019 bought it, rewatched and came away realizing its one of the best sci fi movies ever made for a few reasons. #1 the atmosphere no pun intended. The retro 1940-50s premise fits the narrative perfectly. # 2 The Design... definity stand the test of time. Looks great, feels like you are there. #3 The different ways you can really think about the movie once you've realized whats really going on.... opens up alot of further questions which makes it both rewatchable and satisfying.

Sci-fi on BluRay!
Fantastic sci-fi from the late 90s. A clear predecessor and influence on the style of The Matrix and other immersive science fiction universes. Some of the CGI shows its age, but overall a great film.

Great Sci Fi
Clean movie on language but could’ve been better without the nudity.. otherwise I enjoyed the story line and young Kifer Sutherland.

Great value
I’ve had this movie for a long time. I only buy the really good movies on Blu-ray. I’m just happy that they made this movie in Blu-ray

Great director’s cut
Great film, somewhat hard to find new at times. Wanted this director’s cut but waiting for 4K Steelbook if there ever is one.

excellent sci-fi/great performances
I like this because it's not just sci-fi it's a dark mystery with a weird Gothic vibe to it and very very well done.
