A little expensive but worth it.
If you're tired of watching heavily edited episodes and commercials every seven or eight minutes, not to mention cable or streaming bills every month that always seem to go up then invest in a DVD player (most are now around $33 to $45) and buy this set. A tad expensive ($57) but it was worth it to me. Like vinyl records which paused in the 1990s, I believe CDs and DVDs are simply on a hiatus and are making inroads to coming back. After "Dragnet" went off the air in 1970, producer Jack Webb's next successful venture was "Emergency" which ran six seasons plus several TV movies. A rating powerhouse on NBC. You won't be disappointed.

Great series from the 60's
I never watched this when it was on every week but we saw it one night in a motel. My husband is from a foreign country and never saw any of the old shows but he wanted the whole series. It is very entertaining.

When Prime Time TV was good
The Emergency TV series is was sparked my interest and made my decision to serve in the Fire Service. Siting watching Johnny and Roy "doing their thing" just was amazing to me as a 6 year old and now after doing what they did for the last 33 years, it's still fun to watch and remember the past. Even though some of the things they did in the show were pretty far fetched, it still revolutionized what we now know of the Fire/EMS Service. Johnny (Randolph Mantooth) is still a huge advocate of Fire and EMS systems. The series is fun to watch with the entire family and is also a good training tool to put forth a "what if this would happen today" in the Station environment.

One of the Best Purchases
As a kid I grew up on Emergency. I knew I wanted to be a Los Angeles County Fireman Paramedic. This complete series is a great tool even today. The era has changed but Fireman and Paramedics still do the same things even in 2022 just more advanced and with newer technology. Watching Roy and Johnny race around in squad 51 saving lives and living the day to day life as a Fireman Paramedic is so cool. The DVD Complete Series is a must have. I even purchased one for my son who just became a Fireman and is getting ready to go into the Paramedic Program for his department. Happy viewing and I’m out…..KMG365

A must have DVD Set if you remember and Love Emergency From the 1970's
I grew up watching this TV show in the 1970's as a small child and always looked forward to seeing the next episode each week even though the picture quality back then was terrible on those old style TV's but that's just the way it was. NOW you can own the entire series and the picture quality is Amazing!! They did a Fantastic job cleaning up the picture quality on this Emergency Series and I highly recommend purchasing this box set, You won't be disappointed 😁

The Title Itself Tells You What The Show Is About.
I watched Emergency With My Sister When We Were Kids.I Got Very Excited When They Rescued People From Every Different Situations.And I Still Get That Same Feeling When I Watched It On Dvd.So thank You very Much.

Great Birthday Gift!
My son has been watching reruns of "Emergency" and the company (I won't name names) that has been running them is taking them off. I, on the other hand, was thrilled to hear that because he is very hard to buy a birthday gift for. He was thrilled when he opened up this present. He was especially happy to see that this contains all of the series.

There really is a Squad 51.
I used to work at Universal Studios & there really is a Squad 51. In fact, as Safety Officer for my dept. I had to attend meetings there once a month (for 2 years). Got to know the real paramedics - great guys! So I'm somewhat biased. Especially since they came to my "rescue" once. And I do truly enjoy the show. Check out the "Emergency" blooper/gag reel. Funniest one I've ever watched.

Great set. Always liked that show. Now I can watch it over and over.
All discs are good except for Season 3, Disc 1, It freezes up and I had to turnit on and off quite a few times before it would play right, also Season 3, Disc 4, The background music was so loud you couldn't hear what they were saying. If you could replace these 2 discs, the set would be perfect.

Happy with "Emergency" with Gage and Desoto.
Love this program which is still on television but may be taken off any time so I wanted these for my collection. The set is new and quality is excellent, price was good and shipping was free. What else can I say other than I am very happy with "Emergency".
