The Tourist ttle is too innocuous. This was one helluva ride---several times. Powerful and brilliant female character development.
I'd curated a film collection of "Perfect Crimes/Imperfect Criminals" for a class that I'll teach in fall. This one just shot to the top of my list for the fabulous plot twists and the magical tension between Depp & Jolie. This was quite Oscar worthy but that year was just too tight.

Predictable, but good, anyway!
I'm not a fan of Johnny Dep, but he's lots of fun in this movie. Angelina Jolie is engagingly beautiful, and there are only a couple of surprises..... yet, I enjoyed the film enough to actually add it to my extensive library. The scenery is captivating, and the locations were well worth the trip. The plot is a little bit weak, but it was still a good romcom and I will enjoy it again when I want to watch something light, entertaining, and a good bit of fun.

Two of the Best Actors In Hollywood bring in a Fabulous Performance for Old Fashioned Romance
This is a movie that has surprising twists and turns that entertain and put the viewer on the edge of their seat. If you like adventure with a bit of old fashioned romance, this is the movie for you. It is a softer, subtle movie that does no lack action but mimics movies of old that actually have a plot instead of nudity, and vulgarity.

Funny and believable
"The Tourist", although a few years old now, is one of the best movies I've seen in quite a while. I consider Angelina pure window dressing but Depp is darn good in the movie. It even has a surprise ending. All in all, a good buy and a good movie.

Relaxing and enjoyable.
This is a relaxing movie. The characters are engaging. The plot is not heavy. Beautiful scenery and the missing Alexander Pierce is always there, just a bit subtle.

a tourist who doesnt seem to not know much.
the movie had us wondering if the couple were guilty of the crimes they supposedly committed.

LOVE IT
Because I love Angelina Jolie and she's never made a dispointing movie yet.And also Johnny Depp IS super actor.
