Decent
I've been a contractor for 40 years and have been using a 8 1/2" job saw most of those. I needed something a little bigger but didn't want to pay the price of some of the other well known brands. This fills the bill. The saw was good out of the box, everything was parallel and plumb. My only complaint is the legs seem a little unstable. Not bad, just not as sturdy as I might like. If that becomes a problem I'll just go back to sawhorses for a platform. I also made a detachable table extension for longer rips which works fine. Fantastic little saw
I was really undecided on what saw to get! Wanted something that performed well without gouging my eyes out in price. I liked the features of this one, checked out a bunch of reviews and videos and well I gave this guy a chance. So happy I did. This saw has a ton of little micro adjustments you can set, the fence system is on point always and it’s got plenty power. Honestly, I checked everything I could when I set it up and this one was dialed in about perfectly. I mean It was ready right out the box. It zips through wood and that’s with the stock blade. This is a lot of saw for the money, I like the way the controls are thought out. This saw will do Dado and some of the more expensive saws won't.
Well thought out saw if you need a portable. It's not near as loud as the one it replaced ..surprise .I'm running Red oak through it right out of the box no problem. I built a wide bench and strapped it down on the folded legs at my chosen height. That way I have the option of making it portable anytime and still have a semi permanent stand with infeed and outfeed hinged boards. I'm able to rip plywood alone.
