Overall worth the price and good for anyone.
I like everything about it for the most part. Assembly was a little tough and drawing it is a little tough too. The scope is good, adjusting it to fit you is easy, and the power and accuracy is great for the price. After getting it all set up, the first shot was awesome! This is definitely good for anyone from a starter and up. I'm definitely happy with purchasing it!

Light weight weapon
This crossbow is very powerful ,easy to assemble and light weight, I would recommend buying a crank cocking device if you are short in stature due to the 185 lb pull . AWSUME WEAPON! *****

More than I bargained for, a great crossbow plus a bonus.
I ordered a Whitetail Hunter STR and was told that it was out of stock and I would be receiving an upgrade. I received (A day early) a brand new Whitetail Hunter STR with an installed Crank Cocking Device for the same price !! Everything works perfectly. An amazing and rare deal, and I'm perfectly happy punching bullseyes at 30 yards. Being a fit and healthy 80 year old, The CCD is a huge bonus.

Great xbow for the money
Compact, accurate, powerful. Ambidextrous with easy safety latch and anti-dry fire are a good design. Only complaint is that the quiver tends to crowd your hand holding the stock, especially if wearing gloves. And the quiver tends to make carrying the bow over your shoulder wonky. Do like the quiver quick release, though.

Awesome crossbow
I purchased this Barnett crossbow and hunted with it the following weekend. It is extremely fast! I shot a doe with it that was quartered towards me. It hit her behind her shoulder and went completely through the length of her body. When we found her the bolt was sticking out of her left rear leg. Pass through shots would not be a problem for this crossbow.

Awesome gift!
I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday, & he loves it. It was packaged great, shoots awesome, feels like its built very sturdy, its not heavy, the only complaint he had, was the instructions that it came with were not explained well, or even for his bow. For that, its 4 stars, but the bow itself, my boyfriend is completely happy with!

Product was used
Product had been opened before and put together several scratches and dings definitely been shot. Had no option but to keep it because I was going on a hunt the next day after it came. It’s a very nice bow but showed many signs of wear and all the tags were taken off already and in the bottom of box. Box was resealed with different packaging tape

Barnett whitetail str
It’s a great buy for the money rather a beginner or old school hunter it’s quite pretty fast smooth trigger pull also very accurate I just ordered black eagle zombie slayers @ a .001 Straightnessand it’s a tack driver from 0 to 50 yards I’ll never shoot a deer past 40 yards where I hunt but it’s definitely capable of it good luck out there boys P.S very easy to assemble but the instructions on how to were horrible

Barnett STR
Pretty accurate out of the box. Only about 2 inches to the right at 25 yards. Didn't take much to have it hit dead center with some adjustments.. a little louder than I thought it would be. It is fast and powerful.

Solid crossbow for the money
Well constructed, the scope is ok, I upgrade to a Vortex as soon as I bought it. Had to tighten up some screws when I received it. (But the instructions say to do that anyways) Very accurate. Happy with the purchase. For the money you won't be sad.
