Just buy it!!!
As an Industrial electrician we use thermal imaging all the time. One of our guns gave up the ghost. I was very skeptical of buying this kind of setup. The Flir One is very small and convenient. Easy to store pics and save on phone and can be put into a report or sent as a text or e-mail easily. The feature of being able to change the image from thermal or non or a combination of both is great.

Amazing! Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined owning an incredible piece of innovation with power to simplify and enhance the power to trouble shoot an endless array of problems you didn't even knew existed. "Go where the eye can't see". Spot an air leak in the HVAC duct at a glance. Spot a loose wire nut by seeing the heat of the resistance. Circuit breaker overload wala!
