Plants are fascinating---enjoy learning about them!
If you are not familiar with Great Courses, these college courses---recorded by professors respected in their subjects--are a wonderful way to keep learning about topics you love, or discover new passions. I will admit a life-long interest in plants and gardening, but also to an almost total lack of scientific knowledge of the subject. That's why i purchased this course, and I am so glad I did! Botany is one of the "hard sciences", and i am not saying this course makes it less demanding. However, when explained by a professor who is engaging, enthusiastic and very good at putting tough concepts into clear language, even a difficult subject can be digested, and the process can be fun. That's what Prof. Kleier manages to do in this course. Yes, there's still a lot of Latin, and "botanese" is not an easy language to master, but your path to doing so will be made much more enjoyable through this course. highly recommended!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
