So near yet so far
I bought this manual hoping that Haynes had improved the quality of their manuals. Sadly this is not the case. They are still printed on paper that has been recycled many times. This results in photographs that struggle to show any real detail. Haynes manual of old used to use both photographs and detailed line drawings on good quality paper and bound with a hard cover. What a shame they have gone backwards. The content seems reasonable at best and neglectful at worst. I was unable to find any reference to maintenance lubrication would be a good idea. Those wanting a really critique of the technical aspects of this manual should visit the MX 5 owner club forum where they will find a much more accurate appraisal of the technical aspects. PLEASE Haynes go back to drawings and good paper. I for one would willingly pay more for a quality product.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Traditional workshop manual scores every time
It’s exactly as expected and good to be able to get a hard copy with photos in easy to read and follow steps. However this edition / volume is a bit pricey presumably as there aren’t so many printed now most people resort to on-line help.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

This manual will give you confidence and understanding of your car
An excellent workshop manual in the Haynes tradition. Very specific for the Mazda MX5 mk 3. Loads of illustrations but all in black & white so often lacking in detail. Paper feels a bit cheap so might suffer from oily hands but the information contained in this manual is invaluable if you have a problem. Paper and print quality disappointing
These manuals are not a patch on the quality of those made a few years ago. I ordered an MX5 Haynes manual expecting it to be up to the same standard as those bought for other cars in the past and was sorely disappointed. The cover is sharp and glossy, but similar to a paperback book. The inner paper is very lightweight and of poor quality.
