  • Classic experimental rock

Excellent stuff. The original double album format makes perfect musical sense: part 1 is recognising as (very good) progressive / jazzy rock. Part 2 is much more Avant Garde. This part's electronics and tape effects must have weirded a lot of listeners out when it was originally released. Ground-breaking stuff.

  • Irk the purists.

Many purists regard this as CAN's greatest moment.... I'll daren't risk irking them... Wonderful record.
