Brilliant camera
Someone once said that the camera is not the main thing to produce good pictures, it's 80% the photographer. This camera proves the opposite. Since my Canon AE1 that I abs loved, i could only afford bridge cameras. They worked ok as point and shoot, but i really couldn't find them up to the mark when it came to manual use. I stuck my neck out to buy the Nikon Z fc. I loved the manual dials and the feel of the camera was not unlike the AE1. The first picture i took was on the automatic setting and was amazed at the picture quality. Using the same settings, I tried the manual setting. The positions of the dials and not having to go to the menu all the time to set this that and the other inspired me. Having had the camera for a few days I've found that I'm not bogged down by the camera, it helps me so much and it's so easy to use that at last i can concentrate on my compositions. I honestly can't believe the massive transition that it has brought to my photography. I am now producing the quality and design that I've struggled for, for so long. It's an absolutely amazing camera. My advice? Don't even think about it, just go out and get one. An affordable interim. Commendably light.
Easy as advanced digital cameras go. Film easy, certainly not. Images are stunning. Autofocus capabilities, disturbing. Used with the betrayal of the FTZ adapter and 300mm Nikkor Zoom S, better than expected. Will pick up the Fringer and a few select Canon lenses. An interim till I get an Z7ii. Learning camera. Could be my DSLR replacement!

Lightweight but 'z' lens required
