Better than a chrome plated bbq but newer, cheaper construction doesn't stand up as good as previous models. Still, it is cast iron.
The grate to hold the coals is rather thin, doesn't let enough air through so is not as good as the Landmann item that I was replacing it with. The Landmann had lasted for 8 years of frequent use but fortunately, because of superior construction the Landmann fire grate is still effective and I have used it with this cheaper construction. O.K. for the price
Could do with a cast iron bottom grill like the all cast iron one it was replacing. The sheet steel with a few holes drilled in it works but not as efficient at air control and ash removal as the original cast iron grill. If you need that you have to pay the extra. Wish it was made with more heavy metal
It did not come with any assembling instructions. It is not as solid and heavy as my previous one of the same type. The grill in the inside to hold the coals from dropping down is only a thin metal plate with small holes . I don’t know how long will it last and will the small holes let in enough air. More Steel than Cast Iron!
The main body is pressed steel, quite thin, so I reckon it will last 2 seasons? My last one, was all cast iron, lasted 20 years! Only the grill plate and feet are cast iron, and the bits that hold the grill plate!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Fantastic little BBQ
