Great movie!
Best western to come along in years. Unique in that father/son in real life play father/son in movie. Donald Sutherland and son Keifer deliver outstanding performances. Sure it's an underrated western, but it's an underrated movie as well
I enjoyed this movie. Admittedly it's a little slow to the climax but once you get there its non stop and well worth the wait. Civil war veteran returns home to his parents long after the war is over wanting to give the life up, but his father tells him that his mother has died and he doesn't want his son around because he has heard rumors about his actions and thinks that he's been hired by the town bad guy because the timing is just to perfect. Seeing Kiefer and Donald Sutherland playing father and son in the movie is worth the price along and one cannot help but wonder how much of the tension between the two is real life and how much is acting. The plot is really good despite the slow buildup as the bad guys keep trying to goad Kiefer into a fight all while knowing that it's going to come to that "inevitable conclusion".Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

One of my Favorite Westerns
Excellent story line, good acting by the Sutherland father son& duo and Michael Wincott as Gentleman Dave Turner is an exceptional character. His very best role IMHO. I would love to see Gentleman Dave return in a Civil War Prequel to Forsaken.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
