Best artistic movie about a horse and a boy who love each other.
One of the most impressive film productions I've seen. It's by Francis Ford Coppola. Every shot is "perfect"; no shot is transitional, throwaway fluff. It's all art. Best of all is the scene of the boy and the horse on the beach. Second best is the 3-horse race (that goes on for about 12 miles on a circular [one mile] track). Great cinema license to tell a great comeback scene. The boy (Alec) played by Kelly Reno is so natural as an actor, you think he's merely playing himself in this story. His love and interaction with the Black Stallion will make horse lovers teary. Even Mickey Rooney escapes his typical comedic film roles and comes across as an engaged and committed father-trainer to Alec.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
