Great image quality ideal for low light photography
The pros of this model over later versions is that it excels in low light with its F1.8 lens. It does not have a great zoom, but it is ideal for low light, landscape and architecture photos. The camera has many settings, but just leaving it on Auto provides exceptional photos. Another advantage is that there is an ability to shoot in RAW rather than JPG for professional photographers using Lightroom or Photoshop. If you want a greater Zoom, but don't mind a larger F stop later versions of the camera are for you. Small, but with a big punch!
