I got a Lego Star Wars bundle (75086, 75035) - here's a quick review of each
**Battle Droid Troop Carrier 75086
Nice set for those trying to re-build clone war scenes and need a bunch of droids. Retail is $40, and to me it's maybe worth $30 because for some reason I don't value droids as highly as other Lego Star Wars figs (same with JarJar type figs). Vehicle is a good mix of technic and regular bricks, not a lot of small pieces which make it easier for smaller hands to handle. Fairly symmetrical build, but the long technic rods are asking for a bolt to be placed in the wrong hole - be careful (or watch the little ones) when at this stage.
Vehicle on wheels, so that's a bit of added playability. Old style blasters (as opposed to the stud-blasters like on the other set) are great and give more realism to your battle builds.
**Kashyyyk Troopers 75035
Let's be honest, you're getting this set for the awesome clone minifigs. And they're worth it - great color and detail. The ship is pretty plain, easy build for toddlers. Set comes with the updated stud-shooter blasters instead of the molded blasters; I prefer the molded blasters because they just look better when posing, and there's actually not a lot of playability with the stud-shooters because we parents get sick of tracking down the round studs on the floor. And forget about the stud-shooters if you have curious pets...
Retail was $13 I think - I'd prob pay about $20-25 right now (June 2016). Prices are going higher for this set, so grab it while you can!!
